RELIEF COOK

PTS - Tacoma is currently seeking a kitchen professional to fill our Relief Cook position.  Hours are 9-5 Sat/Sun.  The ideal candidate is reliable, creative and has the ability to prepare lunch and dinner for 30-50 women and children.  Work hours may include occasional holidays.  Will ensure the DOH procedures and regulations regarding storage, transporting and preparations are followed.  Knowledge of applicable health regulations and 2+ years as a cook or baker required. THERAPEUTIC CHILDCARE ASSISTANT TEACHER

PTS provides long-term residential chemical dependency treatment programs for pregnant women and mothers of children under age 6, with a focus on keeping mothers with their children. Work in our on-site therapeutic childcare and help provide parenting guidance to mothers, so that they may focus on both their recovery and parenting skills.

PTS - Tacoma is currently seeking to fill a FT (M-F 8-4:30) Assistant Teacher position in the infant and toddler classroom for on-site therapeutic child care.  We require at least some college coursework, preferably an AA in ECE or BA degree in related field - relevant experience also a plus.  Please email or fax application, resume & letter of interest to HR Dept @ 253-471-2884.

RESIDENTIAL COUNSELOR

If helping people learn to help themselves is something you enjoy, this could be the job for you.  Perinatal Treatment Services is now hiring professional individuals to fill the position of Residential Counselor/Family Support Specialist. This is an entry level position that does provide the opportunity for group facilitation. You must have experience in conflict resolution, cultural diversity, and stress management.  Candidate must be assertive, self-motivated, innovative, proficient in documentation and record keeping, and possess excellent communication skills.  Some knowledge of medical records preferred but not required.  We are a 24 hour facility catering to the needs of chemical dependent women and many with children.    Starting pay for this position is $11.00/hr.  With full-time employment you get a great benefit package.

PTS - Seattle is seeking to fill various FAMILY SUPPORT SPECIALIST shifts (especially on-call and graveyard [12am-8am] shift) with a qualified person who is able to help provide client and parenting support to our clients.  Flexible scheduling also means all applicants should be able to work any shift, and occasionally on call if required.  Work hours may include weekends and occasional holidays.  We require at least some college coursework preferably an AA in ECE or BA degree in related field - relevant experience also a plus.  Coursework in Social Work, Chemical Dependency, Psychology, or Sociology preferred. PTS - Tacoma Fresh Start Program is seeking to fill FT Swing and on-call FAMILY SUPPORT SPECIALIST shifts with a qualified person who is able to help provide support to our adolescent clients.  Work hours may include weekends and occasional holidays.  We require experience with adolescents and with chemical dependency.  At least some college coursework preferably an AA in ECE or BA degree in related field - relevant experience also a plus.  Coursework in Social Work, Chemical Dependency, Psychology, or Sociology preferred.
